Cuisine

The Dower House Restaurant at The Royal Crescent Hotel
Voted “Most Romantic Table in Bath” Good Food Awards 2011

Head Chef says: “Our food is a modern take on classic combinations – our dishes have multiple elements all blending into one central theme, for example, a simple starter of Mackerel Ceviche will be served with six or seven smaller accompaniments that enhance, yet never overpower the main ingredient.
Presentation is key and, of course, the finest ingredients. We use lots of fresh, locally grown vegetables from Mr Eade’s superlative greengrocers shop across the road from our kitchen, as well as herbs to finish dishes off and give little flavor kicks where appropriate.

Meat, game, fish, cheese and fruit too are sourced locally, complimented by the very best of what the continent has to offer, our only proviso is that it has to be in season, fresh and of the highest standard, that way we can keep the flavors true to themselves and at the forefront of everything we put on your plate.”
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner served daily to non-residents and guests.
