The Spa Traveller Gold Collection · Premium London Spa

The Dorchester Spa

Mayfair, London · an elegant treatment-led sanctuary beneath The Dorchester, pairing La Prairie skincare, expert residencies, beauty and hair, advanced relaxation technology and the service culture of one of London’s landmark luxury hotels.

The Gold Collection view

The Dorchester Spa is a different proposition from a resort spa. There is no large pool or extensive thermal circuit within the hotel itself; the appeal is treatment depth, service, discretion and access to a continually evolving roster of specialist practitioners. It works particularly well for a highly polished half-day spa visit, beauty-led city break or London stay where the spa is part of a broader luxury itinerary.

The Dorchester Spa

Set below the hotel on Park Lane, the spa centres on treatment rooms, a relaxation room, aromatic steam, a Technogym-equipped gym, personal training, hair and beauty services and specialist wellness technology. Hotel guests also have access to the 20-metre indoor swimming pool at nearby sister property 45 Park Lane.

Gold Collection note: this is a treatment-led luxury spa rather than a pool-led day spa. Non-residents can book treatments, while pool access is tied to hotel-guest privileges at 45 Park Lane.

Treatments & experts

La Prairie

La Prairie became The Dorchester Spa’s facial-treatment partner in 2026, with personalised consultations, premium Swiss skincare and exclusive rituals including the Skin Caviar collection.

Massage & bodywork

A broad massage and body-treatment menu is offered alongside restorative programmes. The spa also uses its MLX Quartz treatment bed for selected experiences.

Dr Uliana Gout & advanced aesthetics

London Aesthetic Medicine brings consultation-led advanced facial and aesthetic treatments to the spa through Dr Uliana Gout’s residency.

Resident specialists

The spa hosts a rotating programme of specialist practitioners, including facialists, brow and lash experts, reflexology and other appointment-led residencies.

Hair, nails & finishing

Carol Joy London haircare, salon services, manicures, pedicures and grooming make the spa particularly suited to occasion preparation and full beauty itineraries.

The hotel

The Dorchester gives the spa unusual context: a full-service Mayfair stay with rooms and suites, Hyde Park on the doorstep, a major dining programme and one of London’s best-known hospitality addresses. For spa travellers, that means treatments can sit naturally within a city break rather than becoming the entire trip.

Food & drink

The spa has its own Spatisserie for a more intimate post-treatment pause, while the hotel’s wider dining collection includes Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, The Grill, The Promenade, China Tang, Vesper Bar and other destinations. This is a strong Gold Collection choice for guests who want spa time and serious London dining in the same stay.

Spa stays & wellness

The Dorchester’s current Spa & Suite Retreat packages spa, beauty and hotel time into a two-night stay, including a La Prairie facial and additional beauty/wellness elements. The hotel also offers a Speed Nap Experience using the Welnamis lounger and personalised longer-term wellness programmes.
