Eynsham Baths is a 3,000-square-metre Roman-inspired bathhouse set within woodland at Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire. Its 180-minute Thermal Journey moves through heat, cold, water and open-air spaces, creating a more structured experience than a conventional hotel-spa visit.
The thermal journey
The bathhouse includes a large tepidarium, five thermal pools and six thermal areas, including a frigidarium, caldarium, tepidarium and hay sauna. Guests can follow a circuit intended either to energise or to calm, with access to The Hideaway outdoor area and time for tea included within the session.
Treatments and movement
Ten treatment rooms include couples’ suites and thermal cabins. The menu draws on Indian, Tibetan and Chinese traditions alongside plant-based preparations and specialist treatments. The 220-square-metre Shala hosts selected movement, sound and wellbeing sessions, while further fitness facilities sit elsewhere on the estate.
Access and booking
Eynsham Baths is available only to Estelle members, their guests and hotel residents; it is not offered as a general public spa day. The Baths are adults-only for guests aged 18 and over, and the Thermal Journey should be reserved ahead of the stay.

- The 180-minute Thermal Journey includes arrival and changing time.
- Treatments can be booked without completing the full Thermal Journey.
- A 24-hour cancellation policy applies; later cancellations may be charged in full.
- Photography and filming are prohibited, and mobile phones must remain in the locker.
