A country-house spa and golf hotel on the edge of the Peak District, Shrigley Hall combines indoor and outdoor pools with pre-booked spa sessions and an estate golf course.
The BAZAAR Spa experience
The spa’s defining feature is its outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Cheshire landscape. The wider facilities include an indoor pool, whirlpool bath and thermal spaces, with separate relaxation and dining areas supporting timed spa sessions.
Access is not automatically included with a hotel stay. Residents and day visitors must pre-book and pay for one of the available sessions. The minimum age for the spa and pools is 16 when accompanied by an adult, while treatments are restricted to guests aged 18 and over.
Treatments, golf and the wider stay
The hotel has announced that TEMPLESPA products and treatments will arrive from 1 October 2026. Until that date, travellers should confirm the current treatment menu directly rather than assuming the forthcoming range is already available.
Shrigley Hall currently lists 154 bedrooms. Its golf course, gym and access to nearby countryside make it useful for couples or companions with different interests, although golf, spa admission and treatments may require separate reservations.
Best suited to travellers combining a timed spa session with golf or a short Peak District break.

- Spa and pool access must be reserved and paid for, including by hotel residents.
- Individual treatment bookings do not include facility access unless a separate spa pass is booked.
- Steps are required to reach both pools and the whirlpool bath; discuss accessibility requirements before purchase.
