The Spa at Celtic Manor Resort
Newport, South Wales · one of Britain’s most complete Spa & Golf resorts, combining the 16-treatment-room Forum Spa, substantial health-club facilities and three championship golf courses including the Ryder Cup Twenty Ten.
Check spa days & breaksThe Gold Collection view
Celtic Manor earns Gold Collection status because neither side of the Spa & Golf proposition feels secondary. The Twenty Ten brings genuine Ryder Cup history, while Forum Spa and the wider health club have enough treatment, swimming and thermal depth to support an independent spa day for non-golfers.
Forum Spa & Health Club
The Forum Spa currently lists 16 treatment rooms, while the adjoining health club includes a 20-metre pool, large freeform spa bath, sauna and steam facilities, additional changing-room spa baths and a substantial Technogym environment. A treatment booking does not automatically guarantee full health-club access, so package inclusions matter.
Championship golf
The resort’s flagship Twenty Ten Course was purpose-built to stage the 2010 Ryder Cup and remains the main draw for first-time golf visitors. Roman Road and the Montgomerie add two contrasting second-round options, supported by academy, range and tuition facilities.
How the stay works
Celtic Manor is especially good for mixed-interest trips: one guest can spend a full day on the course while another uses the spa and leisure facilities, with both sharing dining and accommodation afterwards. Two nights is the strongest format for a first visit.
Plan it well
Book premium tee times and spa treatments before confirming the itinerary. Use arrival day for spa or health-club time, the full day for the Twenty Ten, and the final morning for another course or slower recovery.
